Integrated Watershed Management

The integrated water resources management is a process that promotes the development and coordinated water management, of soil and the related resources, in order to maximize economic and social benefits without compromising the sustainability of ecosystems.

MARETEC has been developed hydrological models to provide information to deal with water management, as well as to study the water balance processes under different scenarios (land use, climate, etc.).
