WW4ENVIRONMENT

The WW4ENVIRONMENT aimed to:

  • Implement a tool to optimize the management of wastewater treatment plant following the objectives set by the EU in terms of energy efficiency and environmental impact
  • Develop a methodology to investigate the ecotoxicity of WWTP
  • Determine a procedure to assess the carbon footprint of the WWTP
  • Determine and reduce the environmental costs of the wastewater treatment process

The work plan of the project WW4ENVIRONMENT was divided into several actions, including:
