Registration is now open (here) for the "Mural do Clima" workshop, which will take place at Técnico on April 23rd!
We call on all members of the Técnico community (students, teachers, staff, etc.) to take part in this workshop, debating solutions to the major issues of the energy transition and its impacts on the economy and society from a scientific perspective.
The workshop is organised by IST-Ambiente and MARETEC, in collaboration with the European Climate Pact, ZERO - Associação Sistema Terrestre Sustentável and Associação Transitar.
The " Mural do Clima" workshop enables participants to understand the causes and consequences of climate change and to become actors in the climate transition. It was created in France in 2018 and has already sensitised more than 1.5 million people around the world. It has already been implemented in several French universities and Grandes Écoles.
The opening session will be attended by Professor Miguel Amado (Vice-President of Técnico for Sustainability and Infrastructures) and by the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal. In the workshop, participants will discuss the causes and effects of climate change in groups and look for solutions, representing them on a Mural.
The workshop programme is as follows:
9:00 - 10:00: Opening session and open debate in the Congress Centre Auditorium (Civil Pavilion);
10:00 - 13:00: " Mural do Clima" workshop (Espaço 24, Civil Pavilion).
